Welcome to the download page for The Transfer, the newsletter of the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society. Here you can download electronic copies of The Transfer for viewing and printing. The file is a full color Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file and requires the free Acrobat reader. If you don't already have this installed on your computer, see the link at the right to download and install this free reader.

There are two copies of each newsletter, each with identical content. One has high compression for small file size and quick download, especially on dial-up connections. However, pictures may look a little fuzzy although text will be crisp. The other file is high resolution with crisp photographs and is ideal for printing at the best quality. However file sizes can be large which should not be a problem on a high-bandwidth Internet connection such as DSL or Cable.
